Scenarios of Simutrain Radio Simulator
1. Trainee to use the radio properly, including:
a. Proper radio procedures (over, out, etc.)
b. Toning the dispatcher
c. Maintaining the proper radio channel
2. Provide distractions to trainees while they are operating the simulator
3. Allow staff to issue DTC and TWC block authority to the trainee
operating each simulator to simulate dark territory
4. Allow staff to issue DTC and TWC block authority to the trainee
operating each simulator to simulate a signal suspension
5. Allow trainee to call employee in charge to receive verbal permission
through the work limits of a Form W
6. Allow staff to issue EC-1 slow orders
7. Allow staff to issue EC-1 stop and flag orders
8. Allow staff to talk trainee past a stop signal at restricted speed
9. Allow staff to emulate the role of conductor during brake testing
10. Communicate effectively to the trainee their current performance to
correct issues in real time
11. Allow staff to communicate effectively and give ALL trainees
instructions at one time |
